Overview
Unskip helps you set a daily movement goal, record activity, maintain streaks, and receive reminders. This policy explains the information handled when you use the Unskip mobile app and website.
Information we handle
- Account information: identifiers and basic profile details supplied through guest access, Apple, or Google sign-in.
- Activity information: activity type, time, duration, distance, energy, daily goals, streaks, and sick or injured day status.
- Health integrations: with your permission, the app reads relevant workout and activity records from Apple Health or Health Connect. You control access in your device settings.
- Device and technical information: device identifiers, operating system, app version, push token, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Purchase information: product, subscription status, and store transaction evidence needed to verify purchases. Payment card details are handled by Apple or Google, not Unskip.
How we use information
We use information to provide and sync the app, calculate goals and streaks, send requested reminders, authenticate accounts, verify subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, understand product performance, and meet legal obligations.
Sharing and service providers
We share only what is needed with providers that support hosting, authentication, notifications, analytics, diagnostics, and app-store purchases. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal, security, and accounting requirements. You can delete your account in the app. Deletion removes or de-identifies account-linked information unless retention is legally required.
Your choices and rights
You can change Health access, notification permissions, and analytics controls through the app or device settings. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection, and may complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
Unskip is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product or law changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
